Part Details:
Coolant temperature feeds into more of the tune than most people realize, from cold start fueling and warm-up to fan control and overheat protection. The Haltech Coolant Temp Sensor gives the ECU an accurate live reading so it can handle all of that properly. This large thread version uses a 3/8 NPT 18TPI thread and reads up to 127C (260F).
It comes with the matching Delphi plug and pins for wiring. Haltech also offers a small thread M12 x 1.5 version for engines with a metric sensor port. Haltech products are sold for off-road and competition use only and are not legal for use on public roads in emissions controlled vehicles.
