Specifications
Part Details:
Once a build makes more boost than a factory or 3 bar MAP sensor can read, the ECU can no longer see what the engine is actually doing at the top end. The Haltech 7 Bar TI MAP Sensor measures manifold pressure up to 7 bar absolute, giving the ECU accurate load data on high boost setups.
The sensor uses a 1/8 NPT thread and comes with the matching plug and pins, plus -4AN and 5mm hosetail adaptors for plumbing it in. Haltech requires TI MAP sensors to be remote mounted and connected with a flexible hose, not mounted directly to the intake manifold. Haltech’s Pressure Sensor Extension Kit (HT-039103) handles that. Take care when wiring it, since incorrect wiring will damage the sensor. Haltech products are sold for off-road and competition use only and are not legal for use on public roads in emissions controlled vehicles.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I mount it directly on the intake manifold?
No. Haltech requires TI MAP sensors to be remote mounted and connected with a flexible hose. The Pressure Sensor Extension Kit (HT-039103) is made for this.
7 bar or 5 bar?
Pick the sensor that covers your maximum boost with some headroom. The 7 bar suits very high boost builds, while the 5 bar (HT-010110) covers most big turbo setups with finer resolution.
Can it be returned?
Haltech tests every TI sensor before packaging and sells them as is, with no further warranty. Opened sensors can’t be returned, so confirm it’s the right sensor for your setup before opening it.
Is it street legal?
No. Haltech sells its products for off-road and competition vehicles only.
