Part Details:
Hotter air is less dense, and on a boosted engine intake air temperature changes fast. The Haltech Air Temp Sensor gives the ECU a live intake air temperature reading so fuel and ignition can be corrected as conditions change. This large thread version uses a 3/8 NPT 18TPI thread and reads up to 127C (260F).
It comes with the matching Delphi plug and pins for wiring. For intake pipes or plenums without a sensor port, Haltech’s aluminum 3/8 NPT weld fitting (HT-010233) gives the sensor a bung to thread into. Haltech products are sold for off-road and competition use only and are not legal for use on public roads in emissions controlled vehicles.

What if my intake has no sensor port?
Haltech’s aluminum 3/8 NPT weld fitting (HT-010233) can be welded into an aluminum intake pipe or plenum to give the sensor a threaded port.

Is it street legal?
No. Haltech sells its products for off-road and competition vehicles only.
