Part Details:
Ethanol content at the pump varies from station to station and even season to season, so a fixed E85 tune is always a guess. The Haltech Flex Fuel Composition Sensor measures both the ethanol content of the fuel and the fuel temperature, so an ECU that supports flex fuel can adjust the tune in real time for whatever blend is in the tank.
The sensor fits 3/8 GM spring lock fittings and comes with its matching plug and 3 pins for wiring. For setups running AN fuel line, Haltech’s Flex Fuel Fittings (HT-011030) adapt the sensor to -6AN male. Haltech products are sold for off-road and competition use only and are not legal for use on public roads in emissions controlled vehicles.
