The factory clutch fork pivot on these Subaru platforms is a known weak point, prone to wear and eventual failure, especially under repeated hard clutch use or with an upgraded clutch installed. This Torque Solution pivot is CNC machined from 4130 chromoly steel and finished in black oxide for corrosion resistance, built stronger than the factory piece to eliminate that failure point for good.
A cheap, worthwhile upgrade any time the transmission is already out for a clutch job.
