The factory rubber bushing mounting the rear differential to the subframe allows a real amount of torque twist under hard acceleration, letting the differential shift and flex rather than putting power straight to the pavement. This COBB Rear Differential Subframe Mount Bushing Insert replaces that soft factory piece with a specially formulated 94A durometer polyurethane bushing, mounting the rear diff more securely while reducing torque twist so power gets down to the wheels quicker.
Despite the firmer material, the design keeps noise and vibration to a minimum, delivering less flex without the harshness typically associated with harder mounts. Unaffected by extreme temperatures, oils, water, or coolant, and built to outlast the factory rubber for the life of the car.
