This kit is intended for vehicles already running a COBB 3-Port EBCS with an external wastegate. Tuning is required for this installation. Using an off-the-shelf tune without proper adjustment for a 3-port EBCS and external wastegate will result in overboosting.
Running an external wastegate with COBB’s Electronic Boost Control Solenoid works, but the factory 1/8″ fittings limit response time and precision. This EBCS 1/4″ EWG Fitting Kit upgrades those fittings to 1/4″, giving the boost control solenoid a larger, more direct path to work with for faster, more accurate boost response. The kit includes nickel-plated barbed fittings for corrosion resistance, 36 inches of 1/4″ silicone boost line, and a plastic T-fitting, all low profile enough to fit in the tight confines of a modern turbocharged engine bay.
