The COBB Stainless Steel 3″ Cat-Back Exhaust is a direct bolt-on upgrade designed specifically for the VB-generation Subaru WRX. Engineered to balance performance, sound quality, and long-term durability, this system delivers improved exhaust flow while maintaining refined daily drivability.

Constructed entirely from high-grade 304 stainless steel, the system is TIG welded throughout for strength, corrosion resistance, and a clean, premium finish. At the front, a precision-machined cast flange interfaces with the factory donut gasket to ensure a compliant, leak-free connection. From there, full 3-inch stainless tubing runs rearward and incorporates a flex section to reduce stress and accommodate drivetrain movement.

The exhaust transitions through a robust Y-pipe assembly that divides the 3-inch flow path into dual 2.5-inch outlets using a cast split section. This cast design improves durability and longevity compared to traditional welded Y-splits. All Y-pipe connections utilize cast flanges to prevent distortion and maintain proper sealing over time.

At the rear, the system features newly designed COBB mufflers with a straight-through internal layout. Each muffler uses a single 2.5-inch inlet and dual 2.5-inch outlets, accepting slip-fit 3.5-inch dual-wall slash-cut tips with laser-etched COBB logos. The result is a crisp, noticeable exhaust tone over stock without introducing unwanted cabin drone.

Multi-layer steel gaskets are included for all connections to ensure a secure installation. For owners looking to further personalize appearance, optional titanium exhaust tips are available separately.
