The OLM F1 NB+R V2 Rear Brake Light is the second generation of OLM’s popular F1-style rear lamp, designed for the 2015–2020 Subaru WRX and STI. Building on the original NB+R, the V2 refines the design while keeping the same core functionality — a low-mounted rear fog light, 4th brake light, and reverse light in one clean unit.

Like its predecessor, the lamp features a blinking reverse mode that activates briefly when shifting into reverse before going solid. This can be switched to a standard non-blinking reverse light from the driver’s seat with no wiring required. A plug and play harness is included for a clean, no-cut installation.

The smoke lens with gloss black base and white bar gives this version a more subtle, blacked-out appearance that pairs well with dark or monochrome builds.

Important Note: The included plug and play harness is not compatible with the Subaru Crosstrek. A separate harness (OLMF1PNPSS-XV) is required for Crosstrek fitment.

What is the difference between the NB+R and the NB+R V2?

The V2 is the updated second generation of the original NB+R lamp. It features a refined design and improved fitment while keeping the same plug and play installation and core functionality.

Is this plug and play or do I need to tap wires?

This lamp includes a plug and play harness that connects directly to your factory taillight wiring with no wire tapping required.

Does this fit both the WRX and STI?

Yes. This lamp fits the 2015–2020 Subaru WRX and WRX STI. Note the fitment ends at 2020, not 2021.

Can I turn off the blinking reverse light?

Yes. There are two reverse modes available: strobing and solid. To switch between them, shift into reverse and cycle your lights all the way on and off 3 times in a row. Repeat the same process to switch back.
