The Competition Clutch OE Stock Replacement Clutch Kit is the straightforward solution for WRX and Legacy GT owners who need to replace a worn clutch without changing the driving character of the car. Designed to deliver factory-level pedal feel and engagement, this kit is built for daily drivers and stock to lightly modified vehicles where drivability and reliability are the priority.
The kit includes a 4140 forged steel flywheel, eliminating the need to resurface or replace the OEM flywheel separately. This makes it a cleaner, more complete installation compared to disc-only replacement options. The forged steel flywheel also converts dual-mass flywheel equipped vehicles to a single-mass setup, which can improve throttle response.
Important Note: Flywheel bolts are not included. ARP bolts (254-2801) or OEM bolts (800610740) are required and must be sourced separately. A starter modification is required for 2015–2021 WRX models with the FA20 engine.

This is a stock OE replacement kit. It is designed to restore factory clutch feel and drivability, not to increase torque capacity beyond stock levels.
Does this kit include a flywheel?
Yes. A 4140 forged steel flywheel is included. Flywheel bolts are not included and must be purchased separately — ARP bolts (254-2801) or OEM bolts (800610740).
Will this work on a 2015-2021 WRX with the FA20 engine?
Yes, but a starter modification is required for FA20-equipped WRX models. The nose cone of the starter must be adjusted to ensure proper fitment.
Does it require a break-in period?
Yes. A short break-in period is recommended following installation for best long-term performance and clutch life.
Is this suitable for a modified WRX?
