Tuning required. Installing this adapter requires custom tuning or an appropriate COBB Stage Power Package map matching your mechanical configuration. Consult with COBB or an authorized ProTuner before installing. This is the plastic manifold version, for the WRX, Legacy GT, and Forester XT only, not the STI, which uses the cast manifold adapter instead.
Most Subarus come from the factory with either a 2.5 or 3 bar MAP sensor, accurate up to 21.5psi or 28.8psi respectively. Push boost past that ceiling and the factory sensor simply runs out of range, delivering inaccurate readings right when precise boost control matters most. This COBB billet aluminum adapter lets you mount an upgraded aftermarket pressure sensor using 1/8″ NPT threads into the plastic intake manifold used on these platforms, giving high-boost builds the accurate, OEM-like sensor fitment they need.
Finished in black anodizing with a laser etched “C” logo, direct fit into the factory location.
